Thursday could be one of the coldest days of the year so far, as temperatures wont climb above 2C all day.
The weather will be that cold it will feel closer to -7C at times with nighttime temperatures dipping below freezing.
The cold weather will be down to an increase in winds from southern europe, where temperatures have been extremely cold recently.

Although the exceptionally cold weather on Thursday, temperatures will recover by the weekend and it will feel much more milder, with temps back into the low double figures.
The Met office forecast for Thursday reads: “Cloudy to begin with, though the skies should gradually brighten through the morning, allowing some sunny spells during the afternoon.
“Otherwise, windy and feeling very cold. Maximum Temperature 2°C”.
