Christmas Day will be wet & windy, but will it be the mildest ever ?


Storm Conor will arrive on Christmas Day will bring strong winds and rain through the evening and into Boxing Day.

Christmas Day will also be mostly cloudy, however, some forecasters say that the record of the mildest Christmas Day ever could be broken, as some parts of the country could see over 15C.

This could be likely in some parts, but for Merseyside temperatures will be around 13C and although it won’t break records, it will still feel mild.

The Met Office forecast for Merseyside reads: “Rather cloudy on Christmas day with mild temperatures, but it’ll be chilly in the wind with outbreaks of rain.

“Heavier and more persistent rain will arrive from the north-west later, the maximum temperature will be 13 °C”.
