The big day is nearly here and the question on everyone’s lips is will Merseyside see any snow this Christmas ?
The latest forecasts are pointing to a wet and windy Christmas Weekend, which means it’s not looking good for those that were hoping for a snowy Christmas.
Sunday 25th December is looking like a mostly cloudy and wet day with very strong coastal winds, which ends any hopes of white Christmas.
Merseyside has been warned to expect damaging gusts of up to 60mph while the north of Scotland expect winds of up to 90mph.

The Met Office forecast reads: “Friday looks to start with a local frost and some patchy fog in the south, but it will readily turn unsettled from the west through the day.
“This will herald a changeable and at times very unsettled spell of weather as we move through the Christmas period and towards New Year.
“A succession of deep Atlantic depressions will bring bands of heavy rain east across all parts, although sheltered eastern and south-eastern areas should see some reasonable drier interludes too”.
