The big day is nearly here and the last minute shopping and wrapping will be done this week as we build up to Christmas Day.
So what will the weather be like as we head towards the most exciting day of the year.
Forecasters are saying that it will be a wet and windy week with some dry and bright periods of weather.

Tuesday night will see the wet weather and winds increase, by Thursday there will be brighter spells but it will feel chilly, as we head into Friday the wet weather will return.
As we head into Christmas weekend early indications suggest that we will see more wet and windy weather, which ends any hopes of a white Christmas, however, we will have a detailed forecast later in the week.
The Met Office say: “Increasingly unsettled through this period with showers or longer spells of rain at times, some of these may be wintry over higher ground.
“Quite breezy, with strong winds at times”.
