The start of this week will continue to be very chilly on Merseyside as Monday and Tuesday will see daytime temperatures as low as 4C and nighttime temperatures to dip to -1C.
However, as the week progresses cloud cover will increase which could allow temps to recover slightly.
By the middle of the week Merseyside could see temps back nearer to the double figure mark.

The Met Office forecast reads: “After a frosty start on Monday, it’ll be a fine and dry day, with good sunny spells. Despite the sunshine it will feel rather cold. A widespread frost returning on Monday night.
“Tuesday will be dry, cold and sunny. It will be cloudier but mostly dry on Wednesday and Thursday, with some patchy drizzle, mainly over the hills. Remaining cold”.
