This week will be a cold one for Merseyside as temperatures will average around 7C.
There will be strong winds to start the week as Monday could see wind gusts of up to 40mph with heavy rain.
From Wednesday the rest of the week is expected to be dry and bright with lighter winds.

The Met Office forecast reads: “After a bright and frosty start to Monday, cloud, rain and strengthening winds will spread up from the south. Some hill snow is possible and it will feel cold.
“Tuesday will see showers or longer spells of rain, with some hill snow. Becoming drier and brighter by Wednesday and particularly Thursday. Rather cold with overnight frost”.
