Unsettled start to the weekend on Merseyside, but the weather is set to improve

The weekend will start wet, cold and windy on Satuday, as heavy rain and winds of up to 35 mph will batter the region during the morning.

From Saturday afternoon the weather is set to dry up and is expected to stay dry right through the rest of the weekend.

Although, the weather is expected to be mostly cloudy and temps will average around 10C, so it will feel very cold in any winds.

The Met office forecast reads: “A damp start on Saturday, but turning drier in the afternoon.

“Sunday is looking dry and settled, with some sunshine. Monday looks to be cloudy, with rain likely later”.
