A cold but sunny & dry bonfire night weekend ahead for Wirral & Liverpool

The cold weather is expected to continue through the week as the arctic winds keep its grip over the UK.

It will stay cold, with overnight frosts, and become quite breezy over the weekend.

There will be plenty of dry weather with sunny spells, but also a risk of the odd shower.

Bonfire Night Weather

As Bonfire night arrives it will still feel very much chilly, temperatures are expected to be around the 8C mark all day.

Although it will be dry and sunny day with clear skies, during the night it will feel very chilly, especially on the waterfront where it could be bitterly breezy.

The Met Office forecast for the weekend reads: “Showers less widespread on Saturday and Sunday, with more sunshine, but still cold with frosts, and becoming breezy”.

Sunday will see similar weather to Saturday but with the added risk of evening showers.
