Unsettled weather is set to dominate the weather this week, thanks to a stronger Jet stream bringing areas of low pressure towards the UK.
Ex tropical storm Karl will gradually make its way across the Atlantic through the week bringing heavy rain and strong winds.
The week will start very wet on Merseyside as the first low pressure system (karl) approaches, heavy rain is expected to batter the region through Monday along with strong winds.
