Temperatures are on the increase on Merseyside this week as warmer air arrives over the UK, but how long will it last ?
Wednesday is expected to be the warmest day of the week as highs of 25C are expected across the region.
Parts of the South of the UK could see temps near or above 30C, anything recorded over 30.2C this week would mean it’ll be the hottest Autumn day since 1967.

By Saturday there will be a much fresher feel, as westerly air will dominate our weather, which means a cooler and wetter theme.
The Met Office forecast reads: Fresher, mostly dry with sunny spells on Thursday. Scattered showers on Friday. Overnight rain will clear east early on Saturday, with brighter and showery conditions following from the west.
