After a week of summer sunshine the weather is set to take a turn for the worst this weekend.
On Friday outbreaks of rain, heavy at times, will spread to all parts along with strengthening winds.
On Saturday winds will strengthen further and some areas could see gusts of up to 50mph.

Heavy rain will continue on Saturday and Sunday with some sunny spells at times.
There could also be rumbles of thunder and flashes of lightning too, temperatures will be around 19C.
The unsettled weather is expected to continue into the new week.
The met office warning for strong winds are in place all Saturday.

A forecaster at the Met Office said: “It turns really quite unsettled with some heavy showers from Friday, with the potential for gales with localised 45 to 50mph gusts in the South, with the North also affected on Saturday, with 35 to 40mph gusts.
“Next week looks unsettled with a further area of low pressure.”
