July 2016 was the hottest month in human history according to NASA.
The Space Agency revealed that July was 0.84C warmer than the 1950-1980 global average.
Last month has been hotter than records set in July 2011 and July 2015.
The month has been so hot it has completely taken scientists by surprise.
Chris Field, a climate scientist at the Carnegie Institution and Stanford University said: “The scary thing is that we are moving into an era where it will be a surprise when each new month or year isn’t one of the hottest on record”.
