Today is expected to be the hottest day of the year as temperatures of 32C are expected across the region.
But the question on everyones lips is how long is it going to last ?
After today, temperatures are expected to slowly decrease through the week, however, it will still feel warm at times with temperatures averaging around 20C.
Although the warm weather, cloud cover will increase from midweek and so the weekend will see less sunshine and will feel slightly cooler than recently.
With the warm weather also comes a risk of thunderstorms, Met Office warnings are in place on Tuesday and Wednesday for thundery downpours.
The Met Office say that there’s a risk of storms through the week.
A spokesman said: “Sunny spells Thursday, sunshine and showers on Friday. Staying warm but with maximum temperatures of 20 degrees.”
