The Met Office has confirmed that this June was the 11th wettest since records began in 1910.
During the month an average of 102mm of rain fell, the wettest ever June wsa in 2012 when 149mm of rain fell in the month.
Parts of Merseyside and Cheshire saw heavy downpours which flooded roads and shops.
An area near Cheshire Oaks was forced to evacuate shoppers as sops flooded due to the amount of rainfall.
The Met Office say that although the wet weather, overall, June 2016 was warmer than the average.
