The International Space Station has orbited earth over 100,000 times

This week the ISS reached a huge milestone, it orbited earth for the 100,00th time.

The ISS has been circling our planet since it was first launched into space in 1998.

It takes around an hour and a half  for it to go right around the Earth.

In total the ISS has travelled more than 2.6 billion miles, that’s around the same distance of 10 trips from Earth to Mars.
