It could finally be time to whip out the suncream, grab an ice cream and head to the beach this weekend.
Merseyside is predicted to see temperatures soar to over 23C at the end of this week and into next week.
Temperatures will gradually rise through the week, with 15C predicted on Wednesday, 17C on Thursday and 19C on Friday.

By the time we get to the weekend and start to head into the new week, temperatures will be over 23C, which puts Madrid’s predicted 16C in the shade.
Parts of the rest of the UK could see temperatures edging closer to 30C and through the next few days its highly likely that we will see the hottest day of the year.
The Met Office say the rest of the week will “gradually become warmer over the next few days, with some sunny spells, although the sunshine will turn hazy at times, with the possibility of some thundery showers developing on Sunday”.
