Thick fog rolled in over Merseyside this morning reducing visibility to very low in some areas.
The fog was that thick at times that Mersey Ferries were forced to suspend its services early this morning until it lifted.
The ferry service is suspended until further notice due to heavy fog. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. @Merseytravel
