Merseyside has been issued more severe weather warnings for heavy rain on Wednesday.
The warnings come after over 300 flood warnings were issued across the country and over months worth of rainfall fell on Boxing Day.
Dozens of people have been forced to leave their homes and hundreds more have lost electrical power across the North of England.
Rain, heavy at times and often prolonged, is expected to affect Merseyside through Wednesday, with gusts of up to 50mph expected at some costal areas.

The heavy rain and strong winds means that there is a chance that the UK could see its 6th named storm of the season.
The Met Office warn that there is a potential for moderate levels of disruption in places from both surface water and river flooding.

A forecaster at the Met Office has said: “A cold front is likely to become slow-moving over western Britain during Tuesday night and Wednesday, with an associated strong, moist southwesterly airflow.
“Rainfall accumulations through this period are expected to be widely 20-40 mm, 60-80 mm.
“Gusts of 50-60 mph are also expected to affect many parts on Wednesday”
