Festive Forecast: Whats the weather going to be like over Christmas on Wirral & Liverpool ?


Wednesday will see some sunshine and should remain mostly dry, however there is a chance of localised showers at times. Maximum Temperature  9°C.


Christmas Eve will see Storm Eva track across the region, so its looking like a wet & windy day. Rain could be heavy for a time during the morning. There is a chance of some brighter spells once rain has cleared during the afternoon. Temperatures will feel cooler once the rain has moved away, making it feel chilly as we head into Christmas Day. Maximum Temperature 8°C. Maximum Wind Gust: 37mph

Christmas Day will start off dry but it’ll feel much more seasonal with temperatures feeling closer to 3°C. More rain will track into the region by the afternoon bringing a slight rise in temperatures. Windy by the coasts. Maximum Temperature:  10°C.

Boxing Day will be mostly cloudy. Windy again, especially by the coasts. Showers throughout Boxing Day, turning heavier during the afternoon . Maximum Temperature:  11°C.
