The end of November saw the 3rd storm of the season batter Merseyside, gusts reached over 60mph in places which caused some damage and travel disruption across the region.
December doesn’t look like the weather will improve.

Weather experts such as the Weather Network UK believe that December will continue to be wet and windy with more storms heading across the Atlantic due to the position of Jet stream. Looking further ahead, up to now we have more chance of seeing rain on christmas day than snow.
January is expected to turn colder with further stormy weather and February is believed to be the coldest month of winter when we have the highest chance of seeing some snow.
