It’s that time of year again, when everyone fights over the last DVD copy of Jingle all the way thats on offer for £1.

Nothing can prepare you for the sight of shops that look like they’ve just about survived an apocalypse.

FRIDAY – After a drizzly start, a squally band of heavy rain will move across the area, clearing southeastwards during the afternoon with markedly colder and showery conditions following.

Very windy throughout. Costal areas could see gusts of up to 50mph.

Maximum Temperature 12°C. – Feels Like 6°C

WEEKEND – Again feeling cold over the weekend, especially in the wind. Showers sometimes locally heavy moving on Saturday and Sunday. Gusts of up to 60mph could be expected at some costal areas.

So if you’re venturing out to the sales over the next few days, you’re probably best wrapping up and taking the brolly..
