Weekend weather for Wirral & Liverpool – 14th & 15th November

Wind will continue to be strong through the weekend with heavy rain across the region. Met Office warnings for heavy rain are in place.

Saturday – After a chilly, generally dry start heavy and persistent over higher ground, spreading in from the west, with localised flooding possible. Winds will strengthen once again, with gales likely across exposed coasts and hills.

Maximum Temperature 14°C – Maximum Wind Gust: 47mph

Sunday – Further outbreaks of rain through Sunday, again heaviest and most persistent over the hills where the flood risk continues. Remaining mild and windy with coastal gales possible.

Maximum Temperature 15°C – Maximum Wind Gust – 50mph

More frontal systems will track across the UK bringing more heavy rain with the risk of flooding.

This has forced the Met Office to issue more weather warnings from the weekend until Tuesday.

Next week will be a mix of cloud, some sunshine & rain.
