Ladbrokes have slashed the odds of it snowing on Christmas day from 5/1 to 2/1.

The bookmakers have slashed the odds as the atlantic ocean is experiencing dramatic cooling off Greenland which some experts believe will drive freezing weather towards Britain this winter.

A Ladbrokes spokesman said: “The mercury looks like dropping as fast as the odds in a brutal winter.”

Some newspapers have reported that snow and Ice could be possible for weeks this winter.

However, The Met Office say that it’s still too far early to forecast this type of freezing weather and Atlantic storms is looking more likely until the end of December, which could bring the risk of gales and heavy rain.
