WEEKEND WEATHER: Cloudier cooler weather for Wirral & Merseyside

After a week of glorious sunshine with temperatures nearly touching 20C, the weather is set to slowly deteriorate from the weekend and into next week.

High pressure that has brought the warmer sunny weather to Merseyside will gradually move away from the UK during the weekend.

This means that the weekend will feel slightly cooler due to the arrival of more cloudier conditions, especially on Saturday.

Here’s how the weekend is looking in detail:

Saturday morning will see mist and fog slowly clearing to leave a dry but a much cloudier day than of late, meaning cooler temperatures. Maximum Temperature 14°C

Sunday will again start foggy but this will clear leaving another mostly cloudy day. Chance of some sunshine towards evening. Feeling warm in any sunshine. Maximum Temperature 15C

Low pressure systems will track across the UK during next week brining heavy rain and windier weather.

Nights will feel milder than recently, however, day time temps will feel colder, especially in the wind.

There could be some sunny spells at times and it’ll feel warmer when we see these.
