THIS WEEKS WEATHER: Another unsettled week ahead on Merseyside

Looking ahead to the new week, it will be a mixed unsettled week with some outbreaks of rain or heavy showers at times, with some sunny spells.

The Met Office say that temperatures for late September are likely to be around average however “unsettled” weather is expected in the coming week.

The new week will start rather wet on Merseyside a band of rain will push across the UK on Monday morning, however, there could be nice brighter spells as we head into the afternoon.

Monday’s band of rain will bring a fresher feel to Tuesday when there will be sunny spells and isolated showers.

Dry and chilly overnight and largely fine on Wednesday though further rain by late evening. Becoming brighter with blustery showers Thursday.

Overall the new week will see temperatures into the mid teens and with the breezy weather conditions throughout making it feel cooler at times, there will be also chilly nights and mornings.
