Weekend Weather: A mixed weekend ahead for Wirral & Liverpool

More mixed weather expected

More mixed weather expected

Say goodbye to the warmer weather and hello to breezier and cooler weather.

The very early hours of Saturday will see a low pressure system track across the UK, bringing heavy rain and windier weather overnight.

Although the most of Saturday will be mostly dry with some sunny spells, it will be windy, with temperatures staying into the mid teens, it will feel slightly cooler than recently on Merseyside, especially by the coasts. Chance of showers. Max Temp: 17C – Max Wind Gust: 32mph.

Sunday will remain breezy and won’t see much sunshine so again, it will feel cooler. Remaining dry. Max Temp: 17C – Max Wind Gust: 25mph.

The unsettled theme will remain with our weather throughout, due to the arrival of 2 more low pressure systems.

One of which being Ex-tropical storm Henri, which will head towards the UK on Tuesday, containing heavy rain and strong winds

Next week is therefore looking windy at times and feelilng cooler, interspersed by brighter, showery spells.

More details on the ex tropical storm will be provided when the track is more certain.

For now keep up to date on our Facebook and twitter page.
