Forecasters are predicting a very warm weekend with temperatures reaching up to 32C in parts of the UK.
Unfortunately this won’t be the case on Merseyside as the warm blast is set to heat up the south of the UK.
Saturday will be a damp day on Merseyside, with rain set to feature throughout most of the day which could be thundery overnight, temperatures will be at a cool 18C.
Sunday is looking like an improved day, temperatures could reach around 22C during breaks in cloud but there’s a chance that rain could dampen down our taste of summer by evening.
Forecasters are also suggesting that the rest of August could be a washout as ‘several more depressions are likely to run across western and northern Britain, with a further risk of strong winds and some heavy rain’.
The Met Office have said: “We are now confident that it is going to be unsettled with very heavy showers likely from Sunday.
“The heaviest rain will set in during the evening and it is remaining unsettled into next week.”
