The Perseid Meteor Shower peaks tonight and here’s how and where to spot it.
With clear skies predicted by the Met Office, Merseyside should have a good view of the meteor shower tonight.
The best chances to see it will be after midnight when up to 100 meters an hour could be spotted.
Due to a new moon, skies will be much darker this year, so this could be a fantastic opportunity to witness it with out the moonlight interfering.
The beach, along the coast or in rural areas away from city light pollution will provide the best views.

Meteors will be seen looking towards the south first of all, then as the night goes on into the early hours, you’re best looking towards the east.
