A meteor was filmed hurling across the skies of Argentina last week.
The meteor eventually burnt up due to the the extreme heat of entering earths atmosphere.
The colour a meteor gives off when burning up can show what it’s made out of and a green glow means the meteor has a nickel composition.
Sometimes referred to as shooting stars, meteors enter the earths atmosphere at a speed of 45,000mph.
Around 15,000 tonnes of space rock and different forms of space dust enter Earth’s atmosphere each year.
