Thursday was one of the hottest days of the year on Wirral with a top temp of 23.9C. But will the warm weather continue into the weekend ?
The high pressure that brought Thursday’s warm dry weather is expected to stay in place into next week, however, an area of low pressure will bring slightly cooler and breezier weather to Merseyside over the weekend.
Saturday will be rather cool and windy along coasts and hills, mixture of sunny spells and scattered showers today. The winds will be quite blustery in the showers. Maximum Temperature 17C. UV: High
Sunday will be dry and bright, with sunny spells. There will be a cool and fresh north-westerly wind blowing, although in the sunshine it should still feel quite pleasant. Maximum Temperature 15C. UV: High.
The high pressure sitting over the UK bringing the more warmer settled conditions, looks to remain in place throughout next week.
Temperatures wont be as high as expected for this time of year, although temperatures will be much improved on the previous few weeks, North Easterly winds will make it feel a lot cooler but staying dry.
Next Weeks Average Temp: 15C
