Monday was a Historic day for Merseyside as Queen Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria cruise liners sailed down the River Mersey to celebrate 175 years of Cunard Line.
Cunard has been a leading operator of passenger ships on the North Atlantic, celebrating 175 years of operation this year.
100’s of thousands of people lined the Banks of the Mersey to watch Cunard’s fleet sail in formation, with a total of 1.3 million people visiting Liverpool over the 2 days.
The three liners performed a synchronised river dance and there was a flypast by the Red Arrows.
It makes us proud to live on Merseyside!.. We sure can put on a good show!
