The red arrows will make a spectacular fly past on Monday to salute the three Queens in Liverpool.
Adding a coup de grace to the event, the Red Arrows will perform the fly-past at 1.50pm on Monday as the fleet completes its manoeuvres.
The world famous aerobatic team will follow the Mersey in from the sea, flying in formation over the three ships to create an extraordinary spectacle on the river.
Cunard Director Angus Struthers said: “The fly-past by the Red Arrows will add an amazing extra wow to the day – Nine jets in the sky, Three Queens on the river and One Magnificent City.
He added: “What an unforgettable combination that will be. I urge everyone to come and see the spectacle, soak up the atmosphere and become part of a really special, once-in-a –lifetime event.”
Squadron Leader David Montenegro, Red 1 and team leader of the Red Arrows said: “The Red Arrows are pleased to be able to play a part in the Three Queens celebrations on the Mersey and we look forward to creating a special moment for the crowds on both sides of the river”.
