Heavy rain & thunderstorms expected this Bank Holiday Weekend on Merseyside

The unsettled cooler theme will continue into the MayDay Bank Holiday weekend, with cloudy, wet and windy conditions being a big feature.

Another area of low pressure will head across the atlantic on Friday, pushing warmer air towards the UK’s colder air.

This will bring quite a significant amount of rain with some rumbles of thunder over the weekend.
