This amazing dash cam footage captures the moment several shipping containers are blown off a railway bridge.
The cargo train was traveling along the Huey P. Long Bridge in Elmwood, New Orleans, as it was being battered by strong winds and heavy rain.
Eventually the train stops but some of the heavy containers are pushed off the railway bridge onto the public road below.
A statement from the Public Belt Railroad said ‘Due to the severe weather this morning, four Union Pacific Railroad railcars derailed and dropped off the eastbank approach to the Huey P. Long Bridge,’
‘The railcars were empty and did not contain any hazardous materials’.
‘No leaks and no injuries are reported.’
