High pressure a dominant feature next week

A high pressure system, which is associated with dry and settled conditions, will sit over the whole of UK throughout the weekend and next week.

Saturday is looking like the best day of the weekend, with cloud cover being minimal, so this should allow temperatures to creep up, however, Sunday is looking to be a much more cloudier, cooler day.



Dry and settled day with a good deal of sunshine.

It will feel pleasantly warm, although feeling cooler in the easterly wind.

Maximum Temperature: 15C


Much more cloudier day, feeling cooler than Saturday.

Chance of rain showers towards evening.

Max Temp: 11C


High pressure will dominate the weather giving generally fine conditions and some good spells of sunshine at times at the start of the week.

Towards the end of next week, due to mostly cloudy conditions, next weeks average temperatures are set to be in the low teens.

Chance of rain next weekend, becoming more unsettled and the easterly wind will increase.

Next weeks average temp: 15C
