Wirral Weather: This weekend and the week ahead

Nimbus clouds containing hail, rain & 50mph winds above the mersey

Mixed weekend of weather ahead. Bright on saturday, Wet on sunday..

Grand National Saturday:

Overnight rain will clear to leave a fresher, sunny day on Saturday.

However, due to the cold front that moved in over night, temperatures will feel a lot colder and winds will be breezy.

First time in a few days that a coat will be needed.

Maximum Temperature: 12C

Saturday Night:

Chilly with a mixture of clear spells and a few showers through the first part of the night.

Cloud amounts will increase through the early hours, with the risk of some patchy rain arriving from the west by around dawn.

Minimum Temperature 9C

Sunday:

Chilly wet day with strong gusts at costal areas.

Rain spreading in around midday.

Maximum Temperature: 10C – Maximum Costal Wind Gust: 46mph

Next Week:

High pressure will spread over the UK again next week.

Temperatures will rise at the beginning of the week and it will feel warm with highs of 15C.

Further in the week there is more cloud around so temperatures will fall to the low teens.

Next weeks average Max temp: 11C
