Last weekend saw the hottest day of the year so far with the region hitting a lovely temperature of 16C.
But a week later and temperatures will have dropped by 10C.
This is due to a chilly polar continental wind arriving from the east from central Europe, allowing drier, cold and more settled conditions to develop across the UK.
Here’s how the weekend is shaping up for Wirral and the rest of Merseyside:
Saturday and Sunday will both be cloudy but dry.
It will be a lot chillier than last weekend, with 6-8C expected.
Feeling rather cold despite light winds.
Saturdays High: 6C – Feels Like: 4C
Sundays High: 7C – Feels Like: 4C
The highest chances of sunshine look to be on Saturday afternoon.
