The Met Office have issued Merseyside a yellow warning for ICE for tonight and into tomorrow morning.
A forecaster at the Met Office has said: “Outbreaks of rain will clear by Friday evening with temperatures then falling quickly allowing icy stretches to develop on untreated surfaces”.
They added: “The public should be aware of the risk of icy stretches on roads and pavements”.
Here’s how the weekend is looking:
Although an ICY start it will be a sunny day but staying breezy.
The feel like temperature will be lower due to the cold chill of the breezier weather.
Cloud building through the evening.
Maximum Temperature: 6C – Feels Like: 2C
Wind will have eased by Sunday.
Slight rise in temperatures and feeling milder.
Will be a much cloudier day than Saturday with a chance of rain showers in the evening.
Maximum Temperature: 9C – Feels Like: 6C
